Official Rarc Tournaments OCT! News/Rules

FIRST OF ALL, I'M NOW OPEN FOR JUDGES, WHICH MEANS THAT 1-2 PEOPLE'S OCs WILL BE ACCEPTED AS JUDGES!
THE WHOLE TOURNAMENT WILL TAKE PLACE IN MY GROUP Rarc-Inhabitants !
WHICH MEANS, THAT YOU SHOULD JOIN THE GROUP, AND CAN LATER SUBMIT YOUR CONTESTANTS IN THE 'CONTESTANT OCS' FOLDER,
AND JUDGES IN THE 'JUDGE OCS' FOLDER!

DATES FOR OC SUBMITTING WILL BE RELEASED SOON, WHEN ALL JUDGES HAVE BEEN CHOSEN.

Now for the Rules:

CHARACTER RULES:
-No OP chatracters, which means that they shouldn't have instant Kill attacks, or generally stuff that is OP. Charcaters will not be accepted if they are too OP.
 (You can change the abilities later though, so they can be accepted)

-Any Character species is accepted. Anthro, animal, Robot, everything. Even Soup-Cans or any other personified object ;D

-Characters can be submitted in teams. Up to three characters in a team, which means 2 Personalities and 1 Pet.
 (You can also just put in one or two charcters it's completly up to you.)

-You can put all characters in one ref sheet, or seperate them.

-REF SHEETS HAVE TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE COLORED PICTURE OF EACH CHARACTER, THE REST CAN BE SKETCHES.
  (include Front and Back views!)

-Try to include as much information as possible, like weapons, abilities etc. Also try to include information like origin,
 backstory, motivations, likes, dislikes, mentality, weight, height etc.

-No Fan-Characters! We want to see YOUR creativity, not someone else's!

STORY-TELLING RULES:
-You can put your battles in comics, single pics (with description), animations (highly appreciated), or even text.

-Try not to kill other peoples characters. They just want to play the game, so stay fair. It's not completly forbidden though, but will
  be less appreciated.

-Drawing skills AREN'T important! You and others just want to have some fun, without struggling! So, youdon't need over the top skills! Story-telling, and ideas
  count more! The composition also has to be appealing.

-Sketchy stuff is allowed, as long as it still has details and you know what is what.

-You can also make non-battle comics, which will not be taken as part of the competition. You can just let your character(s) have fun wuth others.
  (as long as the other player allows you to have their character in your comic)

-You can also make two characters befriend each other in a battle! It's not only allowed but apprechiated! Builds up some tense

-Gore and violence is allowed to a certain degree. If your character feeds on the corpses of others, it's fine with me. But if he/she uses controvertial
  symbolism or sex it's not allowed. So keep that in mind.

INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER PLAYERS:
-Don't be rude, and don't hate on other players. Have fun and let them have some fun.

-Team-ups are allowed!

-Let them know if you plan to kill/befriend their character.

-Spontaneous help-outs are also allowed. So if somebody needs help with drawing, he can contact another play, or even me,
  if he/she can help out. The parts they made will not be rated though. You also have to credit the helper.

MISC. RULES:
-Try keeping it exiting! We, as judges want to see some fine action and maybe even humour!

-If your character is random, you can be random too. Throw in some werewolf-unicorns with rainbow farts if your character allows it.

-Show us how your character came to the Rarc Arena! I wanna see some cool stories!

-Please wait until we're open for auditions before you submit you entry

-We're judging on creativity, storytelling, clarity, and composition. Try to compel us into wanting to know more about your character(s).
  Tell a story that's unique and extends beyond "OCs fighting each other." Go ahead and show us how creative you can be.

-Feel free to put as much of your own creative input as you can into the story and the backstories of the NPCs.
 Anything that can help you tell a more compelling story.


I'M ALSO OPEN FOR RANDOM NPC CHARACTERS IN THE ARENA! YOU CAN SUBMIT AN NPC, AND A CONTESTANT/JUDGE!!
THEY WILL GO TO THE 'NPCS' FOLDER!
